Prize Competition – Terms & Conditions

Effective date: 22 April 2026

These terms and conditions (together with any competition-specific information on the competition page) govern all prize competitions on the Website. By entering, you agree to them.

1. The promoter

1.1 The promoter is Rose Gold Wins Ltd (trading as Rose Gold Wins), company number 15926220, whose registered office is at Office 7, 35-37 Ludgate Hill, London, EC4M 7JN, United Kingdom (“Promoter”, “we”, “us”, “our”).

1.2 Our main correspondence address is the same as our registered office unless we state otherwise on the Website.

1.3 To contact us, email hello@rosegoldwins.co.uk. We may add other contact methods on the Website from time to time.

2. The competition

2.1 These terms apply to all competitions listed on the Promoter’s website at https://rosegoldwins.co.uk (the “Website”).

2.2 We may run competitions in different formats. Subject to clause 2.3, an entry fee is payable each time you enter (except where a free entry route applies or is used).

2.3 To have a chance of winning, every Entrant may be required to answer correctly a question or solve a problem set by the Promoter (the “Competition Question”), where a Competition Question is used. If we use only an easy or multiple-choice question, or if we do not use a Competition Question, a free entry route is available as set out in these terms and on the Website.

3. How to enter

3.1 Each competition runs from the Opening Date to the Closing Date (inclusive) as shown on the Website. All times and dates are London, England time, unless we say otherwise.

3.2 We may change the Opening Date and/or Closing Date if it is necessary to do so. Any change will be shown on the Website. We will not extend a Closing Date simply to sell more entries.

3.3 Entries must be received by us not later than the time stated for the Closing Date. Late entries are automatically disqualified and we do not refund entry fees in that case.

3.4 If a maximum number of entries (overall or per Entrant) applies, we will show it on the Website. We may cap or stop entries when a limit is reached.

3.5 You may enter as many times as we allow, until a maximum is reached. Free entries must be made separately in line with these terms. Bulk free entries in one delivery are not valid as multiple entries: they count as one entry only, unless we state otherwise for a particular competition (see also clause 3.12 where applicable).

3.6 You must have one account on the Website to enter, including for free entry. You must not use multiple email addresses to open more than one account. If you do, we may close the accounts and refuse entry. Once your account is open, to enter you must, where we require it: (a) open the relevant competition, view the Competition Question (if any); (b) complete the online process or the free entry instructions; (c) if applicable, pay for your entries; (d) submit your answer to the Competition Question, if any.

3.7 Entries must be in English. We disqualify other languages and we do not refund.

3.8 If you are not using a free entry route, we will send you confirmation that your entry has been received, and (where we offer this) we may also confirm if your answer to the Competition Question is correct.

3.9 We are not responsible for lost, delayed, incomplete, or failed entries, whatever the reason (for example system, network, hardware, or software issues).

3.10 Paying (where you pay) and entering forms a contract under these terms.

3.11 Free entry by post — you may enter for free if you do all of the following, unless a competition page states a different process that still complies with applicable law and these terms:

• (a) send your entry by first- or second-class post to: Office 7, 35-37 Ludgate Hill, London, EC4M 7JN, United Kingdom (or any replacement postal address we publish on the Website and/or in our postal entries information);
• (b) we do not accept hand-delivered entries;
• (c) include, matching your account details: (i) the name of the competition; (ii) your full name; (iii) your address; (iv) a telephone number and email address; and (v) your answer to the Competition Question, if we use one;
• (d) incomplete or illegible entries are disqualified;
• (e) you may post multiple separate free entries, each in line with the limits on the Website — each free entry must be posted separately; bulk in one envelope counts as a single entry;
• (f) you confirm you are eligible and you accept these terms;
• (g) we must receive your entry before the Closing Date. Proof of posting does not prove we received your entry;
• (h) for free post entries, we will not confirm receipt and we will not tell you if your answer is correct;
• (i) if a cap is reached before your free entry is received, you may not be entered in the draw.

3.12 Entry price and postal free entries — for some low-price entry competitions, we may require more than one separate postal “entry” to represent one free entry, or a minimum number of entries per post, as explained on the Website (for example our postal entries page), so that free postal participation reflects the true cost of entering relative to a UK second-class letter stamp, where the law and good practice require that. In case of any inconsistency between a short summary on a competition page and the dedicated postal entries or skill-free-entry information on the Website, the postal entries page (or as we otherwise publish for that competition) prevails for that point.

4. Choosing a winner

4.1 We may use the method (or a combination) shown for each competition, for example:

• (a) Main draw — if there is a Competition Question, those who answer correctly (as we determine) go into a random draw; if there is no question, all valid paid/free entrants in that draw. The draw is as soon as reasonably possible and, in any case, within 7 days of the Closing Date (“Draw Date”), unless we say otherwise on the Website.
• (b) Instant win — we allocate entry numbers; if your number matches an announced instant win number, you may win the stated prize, subject to these terms.
• (c) Auto draw — we may use automated systems. For a main draw, the system may pick a winner from all valid entries when the Closing Date is reached or all entries for that draw are used or sold, including allocated free entries, whichever is sooner. For instant win, a matching number may be awarded automatically in line with the rules on the Website.

4.2 We may publish names/entry information on a spreadsheet, during a live draw, or to show an instant win. If you do not want your name on that spreadsheet (or in those posts), email hello@rosegoldwins.co.uk as soon as reasonable after you enter and, where there is a live draw, at least 48 hours before it.

5. Eligibility

5.1 The competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom who are 18 or over, except:

• (a) our employees;
• (b) employees of our agents or suppliers who are involved in the competition or its administration; and
• (c) anyone living in the same household as (a) or (b) or their immediate family.

5.2 By entering, you state that you are eligible. We may require proof. If you do not provide it within a reasonable time, you may be disqualified.

5.3 We will not accept entries that are: (a) generated automatically by a computer, or (b) incomplete, where that matters.

5.4 We may disqualify you if you act against the spirit of the competition, including being abusive to us or to anyone we work with.

5.5 Subject to clause 11.3, you will not get an entry-fee refund if, for example:

• (a) you later find you were never eligible;
• (b) the eligibility rules change after you enter and you are no longer eligible; or
• (c) we disqualify you for any reason.

5.6 If you are involved in fraud, serious misconduct, or interference with the Website (including misusing or altering our code), your entries are void, we do not refund, and you may be banned from future competitions.

6. The prize

6.1 Each Prize is described on the Website. We use reasonable care; details are, to the best of our information and belief, correct as at the Opening Date.

6.2 Prizes depend on availability. We may substitute a prize of equal or greater value, and we will try to update the Website if a prize or detail changes.

6.3 We do not give extra warranties about the prize or about Website content; information may not be complete or up to date in every respect.

6.4 A Supplier may provide the prize; we will name the Supplier on the Website where that applies.

6.5 We may offer a cash alternative for some prizes. If we do, the amount will be on the Website. The winner can choose the prize or the cash, where that is offered. We may also substitute the main prize for a cash payment if the prize is unavailable (or in other force majeure-type cases beyond our reasonable control, as the law allows).

6.6 Prizes are not negotiable or transferable, unless we say otherwise on the Website for a specific promotion.

6.7 Prizes that are property (house, flat, or other property). The following only apply if the competition page says the prize is a property:

• (a) you must make your own legal and practical enquiries. All costs and due diligence on your side are your responsibility.
• (b) the winner must sign any binding transfer documents (with us and/or the Supplier) we reasonably require, on our (or the Seller’s) standard terms. If you will not sign or cannot complete the transfer in reasonable time, you may forfeit the prize, and we may offer it to another valid entrant (under the same rules for picking alternates that we use in these terms).
• (c) the date a transfer completes is not guaranteed, but we will use reasonable efforts to complete it as soon as is reasonably possible.

6.8 Prizes that are a vehicle (car or other vehicle). The following only apply if the competition page says the prize is a vehicle:

• (a) we will, unless we say otherwise, ensure a valid MOT where one is legally required.
• (b) insurance is not included. You must insure the vehicle before using it on public roads only where the law allows.
• (c) after delivery, you are responsible for the vehicle, and for all laws, safety, and use.
• (d) No VED/road tax is included, unless we say so.
• (e) you must have the right licence, skill, and knowledge to use the vehicle lawfully.
• (f) you are responsible for safety equipment and clothing (for example, helmets) where they apply, and for using them.

7. Winners

7.1 Our selection decisions in line with these terms are final; we are not required to debate them.

7.2 We will try to contact the winner after the Draw Date (or the relevant instant / auto draw) using the contact details given with the entry. If the winner does not claim or is unavailable within 14 days of the Draw Date (or the period we state on the Website), we may offer the prize to another eligible entrant from valid entries before the Closing Date, as these terms allow.

7.3 We will publish (or on request, provide) information that a valid award happened — e.g. surname and county of major winners on the Website, or by post to a requester who writes to the clause 1 address with a pre-paid envelope, within a month of the Closing Date, as the rules require.

7.4 If you object to publication of your surname, county, and/or winning entry details, email hello@rosegoldwins.co.uk before the Closing Date. We may still have to provide certain information to the ASA (Advertising Standards Authority) or similar regulator if asked, to show the competition was run fairly.

8. Claiming the prize

8.1 You must claim in person (not through someone else) unless we agree otherwise in writing. Delivery / collection is as on the Website.

8.2 Tell us of any change to your contact details as soon as you can, at hello@rosegoldwins.co.uk, naming the competition and your old and new details. If you change details within 5 days of the Closing Date, we may use your old details to try to contact you about that draw.

8.3 Cash prizes (where offered) are paid to the winner’s nominated UK bank account. You must show you are the beneficiary within 14 days or we may disqualify and offer the prize to another valid entrant as above.

8.4 We are not liable to pay you extra compensation if you do not take, or cannot take, a prize, beyond what the law does not let us exclude (and subject to these terms and clause 9).

9. Limitation of liability

So far as the law allows, we, our agents and our distributors are not liable to pay compensation for any loss, damage, injury, or death from accepting or using a prize, except where that is caused by our (or our agents’/distributors’ or their staff) negligence, or to the minimum extent the law imposes. Your statutory rights (where you are a consumer) are not affected in ways the law does not allow.

10. Data protection and publicity

10.1 By entering, you agree we may use the personal data you provide to run the competition and as described in our Privacy policy (also linked from the Website).

10.2 If you win, we may use your name, image, and town or county in winner announcements, and you agree to take part in reasonable publicity. If you do not want publicity, you must tell us before the Closing Date — that does not reduce your chance of winning, but we may still share limited data with a regulator (for example the ASA) when the law or fair-practice requires it.

10.3 We may need further ID and details to pay the prize. If you refuse reasonable checks, you may forfeit the prize and you will not get a refund of your entry fee in that case, and we may offer the prize to another valid entrant as above. You may ask how we use your data, and in some cases you can object to certain uses, but withdrawing all processing may make it impossible to pay you, which may be treated as your withdrawal.

10.4 Under data protection law you may in some cases ask us to erase or restrict your data. If you do that in a way that means we cannot run the competition or pay you, you may be treated as withdrawing from the competition, with no refund, as these terms and the law allow. If you do not want to receive direct marketing from us, email hello@rosegoldwins.co.uk before the Closing Date (in addition to any preference centre on the Website).

11. General

11.1 We may change these terms; the current version on the Website applies to each competition, so check before you enter.

11.2 If you breach these terms, we may exclude you from this and future competitions.

11.3 We may void, suspend, cancel or amend a prize competition if we need to. We do not require a minimum number of entries, and we will not cancel, void, suspend or amend a competition only because of a “lack of entries”. If we void or cancel a competition, you will receive a full refund of any entry fees you paid for that competition.

11.4 Our competitions are not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by Meta / Facebook (or other platforms), unless we say so in writing. To the full extent the platform allows, you agree it has no liability in connection with the competition.

11.5 English law governs these terms, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any compulsory rights you have as a consumer where you live in the UK.

11.6 Please keep a copy of these terms for your records (e.g. print or save a PDF from the Website).
